Accessible from Sister’s Creek Channel, our dock is home to a variety of commercial lobster, stone crab, and yellowtail vessels that fish Marathon’s waters year round to provide seafood for you. That’s right- where we’re at, it literally couldn’t get any fresher, we’re even surrounded by a lobster trap yard! Come see the ducks that traverse the grounds, or have a bite down the street at one of the two popular waterfront restaurants! At Keys Maritime bait and tackle store in Marathon, we house our fish in large aerated tanks and pens, feeding them daily and handling them minimally, so they’re fresh on your line. We know you take fishing seriously, we do too. It’s our goal to provide you with the highest quality customer service and the best deals in the area so you can spend more time relaxing on the water.
We’re known around the Marathon area for maintaining a variety of live baits, and always stocking pilchards! In fact, it’s kind of our specialty. We carry most major types of frozen bait and several brands of chum, even specialty items like chum balls, oats, and pre-rigged ballyhoo and squid! Our Seafood Market is located in the 15th St fishery, so we have our pick of the freshest seafood in the Middle Keys area. Unlike many of our competitors, we exclusively buy our seafood from the Middle and Lower Keys so you can both support local fisherman and get a real taste for the area!
